It is your responsibility to back up your own data! Data that is stored on network drives or in your "my documents" folder is automatically backed up, but all other data (such as files stored on a secondary hard drive) is your responsibility. Before handing over your computer for repair/upgrades, it is a good idea to back up all of your important files.
