QUICK LINKS: [Medical Physics Home Page][Graduate Program, Application Procedure]

A sample UW‑Madison curriculum for a B.S. in physics with medical physics emphasis is shown below.  This is by no means the only acceptable curriculum for entry into the Medical Physics graduate program.  It does emphasize, however, the importance of a strong physics and mathematics background as a prerequisite for work in this field.  An undergraduate degree in biology or another life science typically will not fulfill this requirement unless it includes considerable physics and mathematics.
