Many, though not all Medical Physics (formerly
Radiological Sciences) theses are catalogued in the UW Library system. The
library database has the department name usually appearing in the subject
heading assigned to the dissertation, along with the subdivision,
"Dissertations, Academic". So a dissertation might have a subject heading of:
Medical Physics--Dissertations, Academic.
To search, go to
madcat.library.wisc.edu
You could then do a Keyword search like this:
"medical physics" AND "dissertations academic" or "radiological sciences" AND
"dissertations academic"
This would retrieve any thesis or dissertation with the
phrase medical physics (radiological sciences) in the record (usually title or
subject heading). Unfortunately, it does miss a few, perhaps becasue of
incomplete classification by the library staff. Also, a few medical physics
theses have been done through the UW Physics Department, so consider that
collection as well.
