John R. Cameron Symposium

John R. Cameron (1922-2005) lecture series was established on the occasion of Professor Cameron's retirement and derives its support from funds provided by John's many friends and colleagues.  Professor Cameron's accomplishments have great breadth and significance.  Amongst these are the widely acknowledged text MEDICAL PHYSICS, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Coolidge Award, establishment of the Department of Medical Physics, founding Radiation Measurements, Incorporated, and more recently Medical Physics Publishing Company, devoted to the enrichment of the public's understanding of science.  In many ways, Professor Cameron is considered the "father" of Medical Physics.
