The focus of our research group is image-guided cancer therapy. Within this general area, our research is grouped into five focused areas.
Focus Area 1: Quantitative imaging of cancer
Projects
- Comprehensive assessment of PET imaging uncertainties (Ngoneh Jallow)
- Kinetic modeling of radiotracer uptake into tumors (Urban Simončič)
- Quantitative vascular imaging (Matt La Fontaine)
Focus Area 2: Imaging for biological target definition
Projects
- Dose Painting (Tyler Bradshaw)
- Robust target definition (Paulina Galavis)
Focus Area 3: Imaging for treatment assessment
Projects
- Imaging biomarkers of treatment response (Peter Scully)
- Heterogeneity of Response in Hematological Malignancy (Natalie Weisse)
- Deformable registration in treatment assessment (Stephen Yip)
Focus Area 4: Modeling of tumor growth and response to therapies
Projects
- Modeling tumor growth and response to therapy (Damijan Valentinuzzi)
- Modeling vasculature growth and response to anti-angiogenic therapies (Vikram Adhikarla)
- Bridging the gap between clinical and microscopic imaging (Stephanie Harmon)
Focus Area 5: Open source medical devices
Projects
- Development of an open source small animal imaging/therapy device (Surendra Prajapati)
