Peppler, Bevins, Szczykutowicz, McCabe Defend Title at 2011 Bowl-O-Rama
With 10 team strikes in the last 4 frames, the defending champions, Strike Ray, pulled away to defend their title in the 2011 Medical Physics Bowl-o-Rama event. With close competition from Team Alpha and Team <<300, it was an exciting event to the finish. Team Strike Ray will have their names further immortalized on the trophy plaque in the Medical Physics office.
Individual awards went to Ron Bierman (most strikes, 14), Brian Meister (lowest standard deviation, 2.0), and Andrew Wentland (most splits, 5). The games were held at the new Union South facilities and used all eight lanes with a full 32 participants.
Next years competition promises to have even more individual awards, including best bowling approach and best bowling outfit.
