Larry DeWerd to be Awarded the AAPM Edith H. Quimby Award for Achievement in Medical Physics
Congratulations to Larry DeWerd, who has been selected to receive the 2015 AAPM Edith H. Quimby Award for Achievement in Medical Physics. In his letter to Dr. DeWerd, AAPM President John Boone noted the Edith H. Quimby Award "denotes outstanding career achievements in medical physics practice, education, or organizational affairs and professional activities". The award will be presented at the Awards Ceremony held during the AAPM Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA.
