Jorge Jimenez Awarded F31 Grant for New MRI Breast Screening Protocol
Medical Physics graduate student Jorge Jimenez, advised by Prof. Wally Block, was recently awarded an F31 grant from the National Institutes of Health for his dissertation project, "Abbreviated MRI Breast Screening protocol". The goal of the project is to develop a dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) MRI breast screening protocol with the aim of shortening exam times while preserving diagnostic accuracy.
