Alumna Jessica Fagerstrom Selected as AAAS IF/THEN ® Ambassador
Medical Physics alumna Jessica Fagerstrom (Ph.D. 2017) has recently been selected as one of 125 AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) IF/THEN® Ambassadors. IF/THEN® seeks to further women in science, technology, engineering and math.
Ambassadors were selected based on overall excellence as well as the following criteria:
-Contributions to their STEM-related field;
-Demonstrated experience and abilities in STEM communication and public engagement; and
-Commitment to inspiring middle-school girls to be the next generation of STEM pioneers.
Jessica currently works for the Northwest Medical Physics Center in Lynnwood, WA.
