Wally Block, Kevin Eliceiri Elected AIMBE Fellows

Professor Wally Block and Associate Professor Kevin Eliceiri have been elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering's (AIMBE) College of Fellows.

Dr. Block was recognized for his contributions to MRI imaging techniques, while Dr. Eliceri was recognized for his contributions to widely-used open source imaging tools.

The College of Fellows is comprised of the top 2% of medical and biological engineers in the country. Members of the College of Fellows are recognized for their distinguished contributions to research, industrial practice, and education. Drs. Block and Eliceiri join a long list of Medical Physics faculty who have been recognized by AIMBE for their contributions to the field, including Beth Meyerand, Guang-Hong Chen, Chuck Mistretta, Weibo Cai, Paul Campagnola, Rock Mackie, Scott Reeder, and Tom Grist.
