Weibo Cai and Collaborators Receive CCSG Program Pilot Award
Professor Weibo Cai from the Departments of Radiology and Medical Physics and Assistant Professor Quanyin Hu from the School of Pharmacy have received a $50,000 Cancer Center Support Grant from the UW Carbone Cancer Center for their pilot project "Nanoparticle-mediated vaccination for local and metastatic colorectal cancer treatment". The goal of this pilot project is to develop a nanoparticle drug delivery system to combat colorectal cancer.
