Catherine Steffel Recognized as UW-Madison Notable Graduate
Postdoctoral researcher and recent Medical Physics Ph.D. recipient Catherine Steffel has been recognized as a notable graduate in the UW-Madison graduating class of 2021 for her work in scientific outreach. In 2019, she founded and organized the Research Showcase at the state capitol to help graduate and postdoctoral students influence public policy by directly reaching state legislators. The event is now held annually.
