Reinier Hernandez Awarded Two New Grants
Assistant professor Reinier Hernandez recently received grants for two research proposals:
The first is a UWCCC Pilot award for the project "Expressing a bispecific Chimeric Antigen Receptor to enable imaging of CAR-T cell trafficking in vivo". Dr. Hernandez is primary investigator on this grant, alongside Dr. Christian Capitini, associate professor of Pediatrics.
The second is through the Research Forward Initiative for the project "Integration of a novel solid tumor immunotherapy platform: CAR T cells, targeted radiotherapy and cytokine therapy". Dr. Hernandez is co-PI, with Dr. Capitini as primary investigator.
