Three Former Cai Research Group Members Selected as 2021 "Ones to Watch" by SNMMI

Three former Cai Research Group members (Carolina A. Ferreira, Shreya Goel, Hyung-Jun Im) were selected as "Ones to Watch" in 2021 by Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), which recognizes 30 early career professionals each year with the potential to shape the future of precision medicine.

Carolina is now a postdoc at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Shreya is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at University of Utah. Hyung-Jun was recently promoted to Associate Professor at Seoul National University.

This is the 3rd year SNMMI is giving out this prestigious recognition to young professionals. Each year 3 former Cai Research Group members were selected.

In 2019, Dawei Jiang, Emily Ehlerding, and Feng Chen were among the 30 selected. Dawei is now a Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, Emily is now Scientific Affairs and Education Manager at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer, and Feng is now Head of Formulation Development at Elucida Oncology, Inc.

In 2020, Dalong Ni, Sixiang Shi, and Reinier Hernandez were among the 30 selected. Dalong is now a Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sixiang is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Reinier is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at UW-Madison.
