In the past half century the potential of x-ray phase-sensitive imaging to reveal hidden information at low radiation doses inspired steady development of new techniques and applications. From an overview of current imaging techniques I will focus on two recent developments - a simple technique capable of imaging nano particles, and a highly sensitivity technique for low-dose applications.
