Production and Application of Therapeutic Radionuclides at TRIUMF

TRIUMF (Canada’s Particle Accelerator Centre) has unique infrastructure, including multiple cyclotrons varied from 13 up to 500 MeV, which can be utilized for production of medical radionuclides. Efforts on production of therapeutic radionuclides including alpha and auger emitters will be discussed. Beside production, Life Science group at TRIUMF is also actively involved with pre-clinical and clinical application of produced therapeutic radionuclides. Several examples of successful projects and ongoing collaboration will be presented.
