3D Time-Resolved Contrast-Enhanced MR Angiography with Cartesian Undersampling, Parallel Imaging and Constrained Reconstruction

Kang Wang (student of Dr. Charles Mistretta)
Research Assistant, Department of Medical Physics, UW-School of Medicine & Public Health, Madison, WI USA

3D time resolved MR angiography (MRA) and MRI applications often require large spatial coverage of the human body with high spatial and temporal resolution. In this presentation, a Cartesian Interleaved Variable Density sampling scheme is proposed and combined with parallel imaging and constrained reconstruction to meet these requirements. Different applications using the this method, including dynamic contrast-enhanced peripheral MRA, pulmonary perfusion and liver perfusion, will be discussed.
