Medical Physics Golf Scramble Taking Place August 29

The 19th annual Medical Physics Golf Scramble will take place on Thursday, August 29th at 12:00 PM. As in past years, we will play at the Meadows of Sixmile Creek in Waunakee via a shotgun start. The cost to participate will be about $50 plus-minus $10 per player paid to “The Meadows of Sixmile Creek” on the day of the outing. The outing will include: 18 holes of golf w/ cart, 3 drink tickets, a box lunch at the start, a cookout at the end, longest drive/closest to pin contests, and a chance to be immortalized on the plaque in the Medical Physics office.

All levels of ability are encouraged to participate. Even a beginner can occasionally sink a birdie putt for the team, impressing all those in their group! We have a couple corporate sponsors to help cover some of the costs (yet to be finalized) and will bring back some Medical Physics alumni: a great opportunity to network, discuss medical physics on an informal basis and to just have fun.

If you would like to participate please contact Tyler Fowler (tlfowler@wisc.edu) and let him know your:

-Name
-Handicap (if known)
-People you'd like on your team

Deadline to sign up is Friday, August 19th.

If you need to rent clubs the golf course will have approximately 5 sets of rental clubs at a cost of about $20 for the round.
